Teresa was more than happy working in the marketing industry until she had an early midlife crisis. When she separated from her husband, she needed to find a better way to balance work and her four-year old. She realised that as much as she enjoyed her job as head of a marketing agency, it was not great enough to make her want to stay. Thinking she could get another job easily, she quit.
Halfway through her eight weeks' notice, Teresa realised that there were no companies that could afford her, so she started her own business as a marketing consultant instead. As her business and reputation grew, her business grew and she was invited to speak on stages across the UK and beyond.
