Show Notes
In this episode of the Driven Female Entrepreneur Podcast, I speak with Sharon Brown, the Founder of The Book Chief Publishing House, MO2VATE Magazine, The Speakers Index, and Revival Sanctuary.
Prior to this, she had previously been working in a corporate setting where she was abruptly pushed aside for a promotion. She thought carefully about how she was regarded at work and as a result, made the decision right there and then that she would do everything in her power to make sure that she felt valued, if not by them then by herself.
Sharon created an events agency, due to her prior experience in this field. However, two years in, she felt that it wasn't bringing her the happiness she had hoped for. She then came to the conclusion that going online and beginning to have online platforms would be the best course of action since that is where the future was headed. She realised that there was something lacking in the extremely competitive networking environment where many women feel intimidated. So, in order to foster and inspire women to simply cooperate, she launched Revival Sanctuary in 2018, her first-ever online platform, with the tagline "Collaboration above Competition."
Now, she currently operates four online platforms with the single purpose of assisting, bolstering, and enhancing the authority and credibility of small businesses. She manages these projects thanks to her focus on making each one a collaborative project.
Don't miss this episode to discover about Sharon's journey and her forward-thinking start-up concepts for joint ventures that help business owners, authors, and public speakers obtain the most visibility possible in their areas of expertise.
When working collaboratively, find the right people. People who are as passionate about a project or goal as you are. -Sharon Brown"
