In this episode
In this episode of the Driven Female Entrepreneurs Podcast, I speak with Giselle Rufer, founder of Delance, the first Swiss watch brand for women.Giselle has always been a pioneer. She was the first woman in Switzerland to gain a technical university degree, and the first woman to become an engineer within the Swiss watch industry. She created the first Swiss watch specifically designed for women but, when a change of management meant that her watch was not going to be produced, she decided to start her own business to do so.
Giselle believes that women deserve a watch brand that fully embraces their unique relationship with time. She wanted her watch design to unite women around the world, serve as a constant reminder of their infinite courage, and symbolise everything that is unique and special about they own life journey.Today, Giselle runs her business through a network of women, all working from home, to produce unique time-pieces for individual women. She also travels the world to meet with women and speak at events to inspire more women to dream big and achieve more.
Listen to this episode to learn more about Giselle's inspiring journey, the obstacles she has overcome along the way, and the incredible lessons she has to share with other female entrepreneurs.
The empowerment of another woman is a reciprocal gift. My achievements are thanks to the women who have pushed and encouraged me. Now I encourage others to trust themselves. - Giselle Rufer
