In this episode
In this episode of the Driven Female Entrepreneurs Podcast, I speak with business woman, small business blogger and passionate networker, Joanne Dewberry, about how she has built her business around her busy family. When Joanne decided to step away from her role running a daycare centre for children to focus on bringing up her own family, she soon found herself looking for a fresh challenge. She found it when her child attended a party and was offered an uninspiring and unsuitable party bag, prompting Joanne to start a business creating eco-friendly party bags.
Finding that she lacked the business knowledge needed to succeed as she wanted, Joanne started to connect with other business owners and soon built a network of enterprising Mums and blended playtime with business learning and support. When she won the 'Business Mum of the Year' award, online publications approached her for articles, which kick-started her blogging career and made her a best-selling author in the process.
Listen to this episode to learn more about Joanne's journey to date, and her advice for successful networking and blogging.
