Louisa used to be a senior manager in social services overseeing the development of services worth millions of pounds. She loved her work, but started to realise that it was the mentoring and coaching part of her job that she truly enjoyed.

Before her life altered radically, there were two significant turning moments. The first was the passing of her father, who never got to enjoy the retirement he had envisioned. And years of pay freezes that pushed her to work harder, but without adequate compensation.

She began to think more imaginatively and decided to establish her own business. She believed that since she was already managing businesses in her day job, she had the necessary skills.
